The goal of our ‘surgical imaging booth’ (hall 11, H76) is to open visitors’ eyes to a new dimension in surgery. How? This year Barco’s booth emulates a real-world OR environment. Visitors will be able to experience the value and benefits of our Nexxis 4K end-to-end video-over-IP technology and a fresh perspective on collaboration. We’re also showing our full line of surgical displays including our new 4K displays. In short: all it takes to tackle the challenges of the integrated and hybrid OR.

Happy patients, healthy patients
In our ‘interactive patient care booth’ (hall 15, B21), the patient takes center stage. In line with the current trend of personalizing the patient experience and empowering patients to take control of their healthcare journey, we present our new JAO 18 and JAO 15 Smart Terminals. The terminals’ full HD video playback capabilities and HDMI input - to connect game consoles, Bluray players, smartphones, or tablets - contribute to keeping patients happy and informed during their hospital stay. Featuring antibacterial plastics, an easy-clean design, and a front screen that is IP65 rated, JAO bedside terminals fully comply with the latest hygiene and safety standards. They can be ordered with a smart handset, featuring an integrated keypad and optional nurse call button to boost patient comfort even more.
