RURAL TV Farms Out Workflow to Autocue
Posted on Friday, April 13, 2012
NAB 2012, Stand C8525 - Broadcast workflow specialist Autocue has announced the installation of an end-to-end newsroom, automation, media management, archive, video server, and prompting system for RURAL TV, a multimedia agribusiness and rural lifestyle network. Owned and operated by US-based Rural Media Group (RMG), RURAL TV launched on DISH Network channel 232, underpinned by a comprehensive broadcast system provided by Autocue. Autocue is the only manufacturer able to provide a single solution for newsroom, scripting, automation, media management, video servers, broadcast monitors and teleprompters, with complete, scalable packages for broadcasters large and small. Autocue's full broadcast solution covers RURAL TV's entire workflow, which eliminates any concerns over interoperability. Moreover, because the system is developed and delivered by a single vendor, not only is interoperability guaranteed, the system can be provided for a much lower capital outlay than would be required by competitive systems with multi-vendor components, and with much accelerated install and commissioning times. According to RURAL TV Executive News Director Liz Motley, "This large installation is a comprehensive technical makeover that enables us to effortlessly reach our enthusiastic audiences worldwide. Autocue's comprehensive solution got us on air quickly, efficiently, and within budget. The system met every requirement in terms of functionality, including working across both Mac and PC platforms, and purchasing from a single vendor made our lives so much simpler." ### For more information visit: www.autocue.com/broadcast-solutions/newsroom Autocue has been serving the broadcast industry since the 1950s.
