Howard Ford appointed new chairman of Datapath
Posted on Monday, April 27, 2020

Datapath, world-leading engineers of visual solutions, are pleased to announce Howard Ford as the company's new chairman, with immediate effect.

Howard has a wealth of experience in the IT, Telecoms and Electronics industries and has chaired the boards of several privately held and public companies in the UK and France with previous executive roles at IBM Europe, chief executive Cellnet and president of Equant (sold to France Telecom). Howard is also currently a private investor in technology companies and chairman of Displaydata Ltd.

With a strong background and track record in the technology sector, the appointment completes a swathe of new additions to Datapath's team following David Griffiths' announcement as VP global sales, Steve Leyland's appointment to the board of directors, plus new territory heads in Eastern USA and South East Asia.

On announcing the news, Howard said: "Datapath's reputation in video processing and management, particularly in large corporate and command and control environments, is second to none and I'm confident Datapath's talented team of developers, sales and support will take us to even greater heights as we begin to turn the corner on the current global situation."

Bjorn Krylander, managing director at Datapath, added: "We are delighted to welcome Howard's in-depth talents to our Board. The immediate future of the global economy remains in flux, but our recent new boardroom additions put us in the best possible position to ensure Datapath continues to grow as a business and increase its market share across the world."
