San Jose, CA — July 14, 2010 — Atlona Technologies, leading manufacturer of Audio Video accessories, has just announced the newest addition to their ever growing Extender Line designed for consumers to transfer signals over a single CAT5E/6/7 cable. The AT-COMP150SR is the perfect solution for those who need to extend Component (YPbPr) with stereo audio, past the normal lengths of Component cable. It replaces typically more expensive Component cabling with a cost effective CAT5e/6/7 cable. This device is sleek and compact, and there is no need for a power supply, which means users will not have to hide bulky converters or wall adaptors when building a home theater of their dreams.   

These Atlona Component Extenders can handle HD resolutions up to 1080i or 720p at distances up to 600ft and 480i, and lengths as long as 1000ft with no video degradation.  The installation of this Component over Twisted Pair Cat5/6/7 extender is quick and easy and is composed of a transmitter and a receiver. This consumer-friendly install works by simply connecting the Transmitter adaptor to a video signal source such as a DVD player. Next, the Receiver connects to the desired display.
