HDMI is the industry standard for transmitting and receiving high definition audio and video. However, HDMI cables have a limited transmission range. What do you do when your source and display need to be placed at a distance beyond the range of HDMI cables, or when you need to set up in a space where HDMI cable clutter isn't an option?

The J-Tech Digital JTECH-WEX300 Wireless Extender kit allows you to increase the distance between your HDMI source and display far beyond the range of HDMI cables - up to 500 ft./152m - using the latest 5G wireless technology.

Point to point transmission lets you connect up to five JTECH-WEX300 Transmitter/Receiver pairs within the same environment. (NOTE: When using multiple pairs you must proceed in a sequence, completely connecting and powering one transmitter/receiver set before adding the next.) The transmitter's 5G Wi-Fi auto select feature scans all available channels and automatically sets to an unoccupied frequency to avoid cross-interference with the other transmitter/receiver pairs.

Like all J-Tech Digital products, the JTECH-WEX300 Wireless Extender is easy to set up and use, just plug and play. You can control all your HDMI sources – cable box, DVD/Blu-ray players, gaming consoles and streaming devices such as Roku and Apple TV – from the receiver location using the wireless, wide frequency IR control feature.
