(Spiceland, Ind.) – Draper®, Inc. has announced a new regional sales manager for New York and New Jersey, and the addition of a shade industry veteran.

Zac Farber will concentrate on the architectural market in New York and New Jersey. Farber has a total of 18 years of experience in the shade industry. He joined Draper in 2011, serving as an automation specialist dealing with the specification, sales, and project management of automated solar control for commercial buildings.

 “This is an exciting time to represent Draper to architects and designers,” Farber said. “Our continuing development of innovative solutions, especially in the field of automation, gives us capabilities that are unmatched.”

Draper is also adding to our shade sales and development team. Steve Edwards is the director of national accounts and special projects.

Edwards has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial shading industry, working for both manufacturers and dealers. His primary responsibility will be to develop building standard specifications with major commercial developers across the U.S. 

“I love the shade industry, and I’m pleased to be able to bring my years of expertise to Draper,” Edwards said. “Draper is an industry leader in knowledge and capabilities, and I’m looking forward to taking that message to commercial developers.”
