HDMI cables provide a great way to transmit high definition video and audio signals between compatible devices. But they have two problems: they create cable clutter and have a limited transmission range. What happens in situations where you don't have the room to string a bunch of HDMI cables? Or when you need to send a HDMI signal from a device to a HDMI display that's outside the range of HDMI cables?

The JTECH-WEX-22DR Wireless HDMI Matrix/Extender Receiver provides a handy solution. It's capable of receiving a clear, wireless HDMI audio/video signal from a JTECH-WEX-5DR Wireless HDMI Extender transmitter up to 150ft./45m away. HDMI and HDCP compliant, the receiver supports a wide range of HD video resolutions.

The JTECH-WEX-22D is more than just an extender; it's also a 2x2 matrix switch. That means you can connect two different HDMI source devices to the JTECH-WEX-22D transmitter and send each signal to a different receiver/display device. This lets you can keep your HDMI devices in one location and your HDMI displays in another.

Like all J-Tech Digital products the JTECH-WEX-22D Matrix/Extender set is easy to set up and use - just plug and play. Transmitter and receiver are powered by a 5 watt AC adapter. An IR extension feature lets you control your setup from either the transmitter or receiver(s).
